Information About
Viewing This Site

This site is graphic intensive and some of the pages may take a little while to download. Please be patient as we feel like it is worth the wait.

Optimized for 800x600 Screen Resolution

This site is also optimized for viewing at a screen resolution of 800x600 at 256 colors or more. Many older computers default to 640x480 at 256 colors, but most sites look better and fit the display best when viewed at 800x600 and at least 256 colors. Newer systems should be set to run at 32K colors or even 24-bit if there is sufficient video memory.

Windows users can change these settings by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting Properties and then the Settings tab. An alternative method to this is to click the Start button, choose Settings, select Control Panel, open Display and then choose the Setting tab. Many newer systems have a separate icon for monitor settings in Control Panel that runs a settings program provided by the video display chip manufacturer.

Which Browser Should I Use?

This site looks best when viewed with Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape 4.6 or higher. The appearance of some pages will be different in other versions and some scripts, java applets, and multimedia features will not run properly. Some scripts may not work properly if using Netscape 6.x.

Under no circumstance should versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape earlier that 3.0 be used. Click on Help at the far right of the browser menu bar and then About to determine the version of the browser that you are currently using. For those wishing to upgrade to a newer version of Internet Explorer, I have provided a link to get the browser.

Tips For Printing Pages on this Site

To print a page, change margins in the page set up of your browser so the entire page fits on the sheet of paper. Once you have set the margins, then you can print out the desired pages.

To Change Margins in Page Set Up:

Click File on the menu bar and then click Page Set up. In the dialog box change both the right and left margins to .25 inches. This method works in both Internet Explorer and Netscape. Then print out the desired pages.
