Show Wins & Results

New ASCA Champion. November 4-5, 2000. AKC/ASCA/CKC CH. Milwin Legend of Bayshore ("Legend") completes the requirements for his ASCA championship with two 5 point majors at the BRASC Fall Shows under Judges Nancy Bodeine and Peggy Kessler. Legend was Best of Winners on both days.

AKC Show Win. October 16, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Mint Julip ("Juli") and her owner Peggy Faith on winning Winners/Best of Winners/Best Opposite at the Howard County show under Judge Mr. James Edward Noe for 2 points.

2000 ASCA National Specialty in Gainsville, Georgia and Preshows.
October 7-14, 2000. Our trip to the ASCA Nationals was quite successful. We had loads of fun meeting new aussie folks and visiting with our many friends from all over the country.

  • National Specialty. October 13, 2000. AKC/CKC CH. Milwin Legend of Bayshore ("Legend") wins 3rd place in the Open Blue Dog Class under Judge Victoria Mistretta (photo).

  • National Specialty. October 11, 2000. Shadow Fox Electra ("Lexi") wins 4th place in the 4-6 Month Puppy Bitch Class under Judge Sharon Rowe.

  • National Specialty. Congratulations to Milwin's Mint Julip ("Juli") made the final cut in a large class of beautiful bitches at the Georgia ASCA National Specialty under Judge Mitzi Weeks-Cupp.

  • Florida Australian Shepherd Pre-Show. October 10, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") won 1st place in the Open Black Dog Class. He also won Winners Dog and a Premier Award under Judge Carol Hartnagle Madsen (photo).

  • Florida Australian Shepherd Pre-Show. October 10, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") won a Premier Award under Judge Barbara Peters (photo).

  • Australian Shepherd Club of New England. October 9, 2000. AKC/CKC CH. Milwin Legend of Bayshore ("Legend") won 1st place in Bred by Exhibitor Class under Judge Ginger Shoemake (photo).

  • Australian Shepherd Club of New England. October 9, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") won a Premier Award under Judge Debra Gower (photo).

  • Australian Shepherd Club of New England. October 9, 2000. Shadow Fox Electra ("Lexi") won 1st place in 4-6 Month Puppy Bitch Class under Judge Ann Dechant.

  • Southeast ASC Camellia Classic. October 8, 2000. AKC/CKC CH. Milwin Legend of Bayshore ("Legend") won 2nd place in Bred by Exhibitor Class under Judge Marie Murphy.

  • Southeast ASC Camellia Classic. October 8, 2000. Shadow Fox Electra ("Lexi") won 1st place in 4-6 Month Puppy Bitch Class under Judge Janet Going.

  • Greater Atlantic Pre-Show. October 7, 2000. AKC/CKC CH. Milwin Legend of Bayshore ("Legend") won 2nd place in the Bred By Exhibitor class under Judge Richard Yates.

    Greater Atlantic Pre-Show. October 7, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") won 3rd place in the Open Black Dog Class under Judge Richard Yates.

  • Greater Atlantic Pre-Show. October 7, 2000. Shadow Fox Electra ("Lexi") won 1st place in 4-6 Month Puppy Bitch Class under Judge Cindy Goodman.

ASCA Show Win. September 10, 2000. CH. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") wins Winners Dog and Best Opposite Sex for a 3 point major at the Mid-Atlantic Australian Shepherd Club Specialty in Wilmington, Delaware under breeder judge Ms. Andrea Blizard.

ASCA Show Win. September 10, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Mint Julip ("Juli") and her owner Peggy Faith. Juli wins Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed at the Mid-Atlantic Australian Shepherd Club Specialty in Wilmington, Delaware under breeder Judge Ms. Andrea Blizard.

AKC Show Win. August 27, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") was expertly handled to a Best of Breed win by Sarandria Whitacre at the Mid Susquehanna Kennel Club Show under Judge Mrs. P.A. Hess.

AKC Show Win. August 26, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") wins Best Opposite Sex at the Harrison Kennel Club Show under Judge Mrs. J.A. Park.

AKC Show Win. August 19, 2000. Milwin's Hi Society ("Heidi") won Winners Bitch at Talbot Kennel Club Show under Judge B.L. Espoute for 2 points. Heidi is co-owned with Phyllis Lauffer of Wee Tri Aussies.

AKC Show Win. August 19, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Mint Julip ("Juli") and her owner Peggy Faith on the Reserve Winners Bitch win at Talbot Kennel Club Show under Judge B.L. Espoute.

AKC Show Win. August 18, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") wins Best Oppositie Sex at Talbot Kennel Club Show under Judge Mrs. Robert Forsyth. Myla was handled to this win by Sarandria Whitacre.

AKC Show Win. August 18, 2000. Milwin's High Society ("Heidi") won Winners Bitch for 2 points under Judge Mrs. Robert Forsyth.

AKC Show Win. August 4, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") wins Best Opposite Sex at Roanoke Kennel Club Show under Judge Mr. Charles Trotter.

ASCA Show Win. July 30, 2000. AKC CH. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") wins Winners Dog and Best of Winners under Judge Linda Foiles for a 5 point major at the Blue Ridge Australian Shepherd Club toward his ASCA Championship.

High In Trial Winner. July 29, 2000. Milwin Wee Tri Hank ("Hank") and his owner Nancy Walker won first place in Open B under Judge Richard Gatlin with a score of 194.5 at the BRASC Show in Warrenton, Virginia. The pair also won High In Trial. Hank is currently ranked 12th in the nation for Open Obedience. Watch out for this pair at the Aussie Nationals in October 2000.

AKC Show Win. July 23, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") wins Best Opposite Sex at York Kennel Show Club Show under judge Mrs. Marjorie Tuff.

AKC Show Win. July 9, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") wins Best of Breed at Upper Marlboro Kennel Club Show under Judge James E. Frederiksen.

AKC Show Win. July 2, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") wins Best Opposite Sex at Southern Maryland Kennel Club Show under Judge James R. White.

AKC Show Win. June 11, 2000. AKC/ASCA CH. Milwin's Troublemaker ("Myla") and CH. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") take Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex at the Shenandoah Valley Kennel Club Show under Judge Sam Houston McDonald.

Show Win. June 10, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Mint Julip ("Juli") and her owner Peggy Faith on another great puppy win. Juli went Reserve Winner's Bitch from the 6-9 month puppy class under Judge Shirley Uphouse at the Skyline Kennel Club show and that evening at the Skyline Kennel Club Match Juli won Best of Breed and Group 1 under Australian Shepherd Breeder Judge Bruce Caldwell.

Agility Trial. June 4, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Trouble at Twilight ("Cassie") and owner Jane Moss on receiving a qualifying score and first leg on their UKC AGI title held by Dulles Gateway Obedience Club.

AKC Show Win. June 3-5, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Double Or Nothing ("Jackpot") and owner Mrs. Gigi Fizgerald on their recent win at the Greater Philadelphia Shows. Jackpot went Winner's Dog for his first point from the 6-9 puppy classes and then went on to win Best of Breed Puppy and a Herding Puppy Group 3rd on Sunday, June 5th.

AKC Show Win. May 26, 2000. Congratulations to two lovely ladies on their first show together. Our girl, AKC/ASCA CH. Milwins Troublemaker ("Myla") and handler, Ms. Sarandria (Randy) Whitacre won Best of Breed at the Glouster Kennel Club Show in Virginia under Judge Stanley Saltzman. Myla and Randy also got pulled in the group ring.

Show Win. May 21, 2000. Congratulations to Milwin's Mint Julip ("Juli") and her owner Peggy Faith on their Best of Breed Puppy and Herding Group 2nd win at Carrol Kennel Club Show under Judge Helen Lee James.

New AKC Champion. May 20, 2000. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") completes his requirements for his championship by winning Winners/Best of Winners/Best of Breed for a 4 point major at the Mattaponi Kennel Club Show. He also won a Group 4th under Judge J. Donald Jones.

AKC Show Results. April 17-22, 2000. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") had a great week on the Cherry Blossom Circuit:

  • April 22, 2000. Travis won Winners Dog for a 4 point major at Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern Virginia under Judge Patti A. Long Smith.
  • April 20, 2000. Travis won Winners Dog for 2 points at the Shawnee Kennel Club Show under Judge Doris H. Miller.
  • April 19, 2000. Travis won Winners Dog for 1 point at the Warrenton Kennel Club under Judge Betsy Horn Hummer.
  • April 18, 2000. Travis won Winners Dog/Best of Winners for 2 points at the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club under Judge Patricia Hess.
  • April 17, 2000. Travis won Winners Dog/Best of Winners for 2 points at the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club under Judge Kenneth A. Buxton.

AKC Show Win. April 9, 2000. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") won Winners Dog/Best of Winners and Best of Breed for 2 points under Judge Alane L. Gomez at the Virginia Kennel Club Show. Travis then went on to win a Group 3rd under Judge Myron (Corky) Gauger.

USASA National Specialty Win. March 28, 2000. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") won Reserve Winners Dog at the 2000 USASA National Specialty held in Bakersfield, California under Judge Dr. Harry smith, Jr. Travis was skillfully handled to this honor by his co-owner Frank Baylis. We are extremely proud of our beautiful boy.

New AKC Champion. February 20, 2000. Congratulations to Wee Tri Milwin Yippee Ki Yah ("Bruce") and his owner, Lisa Hart, on finishing his championship. Bruce won Winners Dog/ Best of Winners/ Best Opposite for a 5 point major at the Maryland Kennel Club Show under Judge Marieann Glastone.

ASCA Show Win. February 5-6, 2000. Bayshore Tradition of Milwin ("Travis") won his first ASCA points at the Blue Ridge Australian Shepherd Winter Classic on February 5th for a 5 point major under Judge Carol Noe. On February 6th, Travis went Reserve Winners Dog under Judge Carol Noe.

Miscellaneous Tidbits
Sad News . On election day, November 7, 2000, AKC Ch. Milwin Cavalier Praire Rose ("Maggie") passed away. Maggie will be missed by Debbie Mills of Milwin Kennel and Jane Moss, her co-owner, of Twilight Aussies. A special graphic has been made in her memory, and can be viewed on Maggie's Memorial Page.

New Web Site. Posted August 22, 2000. A special thanks to Teresa Mills, my talented sister, who designed Milwin Kennel's web site and all of the beautiful graphics.
